This service is provided to members, as often as clinically appropriate, by Associate Counselors who are trained at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Our counselors specialize in using various supportive counseling techniques to conduct one-on-one sessions in private residences, group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and other community locations. Counseling will allow the opportunity to focus on a member’s social, behavioral and emotional needs related to their treatment plan. Using a holistic approach (mind, body and spirit) we work to increase motivation, develop coping skills and address current behavioral functions.
